NJ Wedding Photographer / Madison Hotel / Laura & Joe

Who:
Laura & Joe
Where:
The Madison Hotel / Morristown, NJ
What:
Wedding
When:
August 22, 2010

Laura and Joe held their wedding at The Madison Hotel and even though it rained, it didn’t dampen the party at all. The ceremony took place in the Conservatory and Conroy’s Florist did an amazing job with the flowers. I should have expected a great reception as Laura may have had the best quote ever on her wedding worksheet.

Q. Tell us about any special traditions that we should know about which will be happening on your wedding day.

A. This wedding is anti- tradition!!! NO Hava Nagila, NO prayers, NO garter toss….. Just lots of fun memories, delicious beverages, and some hard dancing!

Since Joe is a Fireman as well as many guests at the wedding I made sure the last image and cover image held with the theme of Fire…Also look close at Joe and his Groomsmen shot, yes in the Fire Lane of the Hotel.

Thank you for a rockin fun wedding…..

NY Wedding Photographer / Glen Island Harbour Club Wedding / Rebecca & Walter

Who:
Rebecca & Walter
Where:
Glen Island Harbour Club / Westchester. NY
What:
Wedding
When:
August 8, 2010

Rebecca and Walter’s wedding was part 3 of my triple wedding weekend and the wedding took place at one of my favorite venues to shoot at, the Glen Island Harbour Club, the staff is always great to work with which makes for a great day of shooting. Rebecca and Walter’s wedding was an early daytime wedding so they chose to shoot all the formals before the ceremony which is always a great idea as it allows time for great photos and also for the couple to enjoy the full cocktail hour with their guests. I am amazed every weekend how many talented bands and musicians there are in the area and this wedding was no exception, I may have seen the greatest single performance from a band member at this wedding, the trumpet player surprised everyone with a Mick Jagger type performance that was a sight to see, pretty awesome. If you are looking for a great band check out Skyline Orchestras, they were amazing. And now for some images from the day.

New Jersey Wedding Photographer / Susan & Chris

Who:
Susan & Chris
Where:
Grand Summit Hotel / Summit, NJ
What:
Wedding
When:
August 7, 2010

Here are a few images from Saturdays wedding in NJ. Susan and Chris had a great ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, to make it all the more special Chris’ father was the Rev. of the Church and the ceremony was beautiful, Chris may have had the best Kiss of all times with his unexpected dip in the church.  After some formals around the property of the Church we made our way over  to the reception at The Grand Summit Hotel. The entertainment was Livewire Entertainment who had the dance floor jumping all night.

New York Wedding Photography / Utica NY

Who:
Jill & Scott
Where:
Utica, New York
What:
Wedding
When:
August 6, 2010

Here is the first wedding of my 3 wedding weekend.  Jill & Scott’s wedding took place in Utica NY and the day was a perfect start to a busy weekend.  I loved the green and black colors they chose for the dresses and details, a great combination of colors.  I started the day off for some prep shots of Jill then off to the ceremony. After the ceremony we took some photos at a local golf course then headed off to the reception for a night of dancing and fun.

NY Wedding Photographer / Lake Placid Wedding / Camp Arden

Who:
Christina & Jasen
Where:
Camp Arden /  Vermontville, NY
What:
Wedding
When:
July 31, 2010

Back up to the Lake Placid area, for another destination wedding. Christina and Jasen’s wedding took place  in upstate NY. Camp Arden is a truly amazing place, so many great photo opportunities and a great atmosphere for a country wedding. Christina and Jasen chose to see each other prior to the ceremony which allowed plenty of time for some great photos. The ceremony took place in the Boat House, a cute chapel style structure overlooking one of the estates lakes. Catering was handled by Chair 6 Restaurant, one of my favorite restaurants in Lake Placid. The details were amazing and really gave the wedding am Adirondack feel. The music for the night after the string trio was a great Celtic band, Inisheer from the area, such a great band and really made the wedding a unique and beautiful day. I could have blogged pretty much all 700 or more photos as the photo opportunities were endless, but here are a few from the day and I will also be featuring this wedding on my blog under the featured section very soon.
